We started watching Schitt’s Creek on Netflix after we heard about all the awards that they won and how Annie Murphy said the show stands for “love and kindness and inclusivity and acceptance” . While we had seen the show in the listings and seen how popular it was, we never gave a thought to watching it, perhaps because of the name and images shown in the previews.
So far, the show has gone from nearly unwatchable to stirring some positive emotions, with painfully awkward scenes and moving moments.
