Hungry for more family love and Mexican food! Each main character goes through their struggles and surprises the family with a major life decision, and while each seems to be going away, they come back to each other in the end, as better and more complete people. The film did not spare the characters from embarrassing and awkward situations, and showed how rocky the path can be to finding out who you are or where you need to be. Every portion of the movie begins with the father making a large and delicious family meal, which is followed by chaos and turmoil, right up to the last scene where the middle daughter takes on the role of family chef, and this food and family combination has proven to be one of our favorite feel good movie themes.
