Is there anything that can ruin the Christmas spirit better than the government? As congress considers closing the Air Force base in Guam a congressional aide is sent to uncover the truth behind “Operation Christmas Drop” and ends up in the middle of a Christmas miracle.
This movie was…not great, but the charitable theme based on a real program to deliver food and supplies to underserved islands was uplifting, and we learned a bit about Guam in the process.
There were some great lines, like “Do you want to be good at your job? Snorkel!” and many others that had us laughing, and the scenery of the tropical islands is hard to beat. Light hearted and feel good, this movie left us feeling satisfied, silly, and a little bit filled with the Christmas spirit.
