After finishing up perhaps the worst Christmas movie ever, we started in on Netflix’s newest offering Single All the Way. At first glance, Netflix must have spent their Christmas budget just on the list of actors in this film, not that it guarantees a successful story. This one didn’t disappoint!
Desperate to get his family off his back about a relationship, Peter talks his best friend Nick into coming home with him for Christmas, and pretending to be a couple. The plan goes awry immediately, from the meddling mother, and the rest of the family jumps right in to with their own schemes. A blind dates, 2 photo shoots, a Britney dance party and a Christmas pageant later the love triangle hits its peak.
The nice thing about Christmas movies is that you know they are going to end well, so the only question is: how awkward are things going to get before Christmas arrives? Thankfully this film only leaves you hanging for a few minutes before delivering the gift of a happy ending.
Must see new movie of the season, best feeling holiday movie that we’ve watched this year.
